GSDM Introduction

Gramin Skill Development Mission is a unit of Gramin Shiksha Private Limited established in 2010 and working on vocational education since 2010 with a network of about 100 Training Centers.

Gramin Skill Development Mission is approved Training Partner with NSDC, Electronic Sector Skill Council, Telecom Sector Skill Council and various SSDM like Haryana Skill Development Mission, Uttrakhand Skill Development Mission, Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation etc.

In a Response to Skill India Mission with an objective to train unemployed youth, school and college dropouts in various outcome based trades, and help them get employment within the domestic industries as well as overseas markets. We are working with Skill India Mission since 2016 and trained almost 15000 candidates in various job roles.

1. PMKVY                                                                                                                                                  

About Scheme

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation. The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.

Gramin Shiksha Contribution :

Gramin Shiksha had worked in PMKVY 2.0 Project as an Training Partner of Project run by Ministry of Skill Development  and National Skill Development Corporation and associate 11 Training Centers for the completion of Project with about 3000 students trained in various job roles.

2. UKSDM (UTTRAKHAND SKILL DEVELOPMENT MISSION :                                               

About Project:

Uttarakhand Skill Development Mission (UKSDM) has been providing free skill development training to youth over all 13 districts urban and rural sectors of state. In order to address the challenges of unemployment and ensuring gainful and sustainable employment to the youth of the state, Hon'ble Chief Minister created Uttarakhand Skill Development Mission UKSDM in February 2013. The state plan to train 6.5 lac youth and provide employment.

Gramin Shiksha Contribution:

As per the plan of Uttrakhand Skill Development Mission to train 6.5 lac youth , Gramin Shiksha has also contributed to achieve the target and created a well established center in Health Sector in Laksar , Haridwar (District of Uttrakhand) with desired job role in Health Industry i.e Medical Lab Technicians and Emergency Medical Technicians with 240 number of students.

3. PMKVY-RPL:                                                                                                      

About Project:

Recogonition of Prior Learning commonly known as RPL largely refers to an assessment process used to evaluate a person's existing skill sets, knowledge and experience gained either by formal, non-formal or informal learning.

In August 2018, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministries of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to jointly undertake upskilling and certification of 100,000 RAC service technicians on good servicing practices and knowledge of alternative refrigerants to ozone-depleting chemicals. The project will be funded under the Skill India Mission – Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and will be jointly implemented by ESSCI and Ozone Cell.

Gramin Shiksha Contribution:

As Gramin Shiksha is a Training Partner with Electronics Sector Skill Council and undergone Training of about 10000 candidates under PMKVY-RPL of RAC Technicians in 7 states i.e Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh and contributed with ESSCI to achieve the target.

4. RSLDC :                                                

About Project:

Rajasthan is the first state in India to establish a mission for livelihoods, in September 2004, in order to address the challenges of unemployment and ensuring gainful and sustainable employment by formulating appropriate and innovative strategies for the poor and vulnerable people. In view of the importance regarding skill development for enhancing employability of working population, Rajasthan Mission on Skill and Livelihoods, in 2009-10, formulated specific action plans to provide further impetus to the Skill Trainings.

Gramin Shiksha Contribution:

Gramin Shiksha empanelled as Training Partner with RSLDC in 2019 and currently running the project of Regular Skill Training Programme(RSTP) under RSLDC in Ganganagar district of Rajasthan with a target of 120 candidates. 

5. Haryana Skill Development Mission (HSDM):               

About Project:

Haryana Skill Development Mission (HSDM) has been established in May 2015 by State Government with an aim to empower youth to take part in the economic and all around growth of HARYANA AND INDIA. The Mission is a single point of contact within the Government to formulate and steer skill development schemes across the Department. HSDM acts as an integrated mission which combines the efforts of various State Departments in achieving the skill development target of the State.

Gramin Shiksha Contribution:

Gramin Shiksha empanelled as Training Partner with HSDM in 2019 and currently running the projects of HSDM (PMKVY, SURYA AND SAKSHAM SCHEME) in 6 districts of Haryana with a target of 950 candidates.
